百年古刹极乐寺从即日起再度点亮了1万盏葫芦形万佛光明宝灯及23万盏彩色灯泡，以迎接农历丙戌年的到来。这座殊胜道场的年灯，将从阳历1月24日（农历十二月廿五）开始至2月25日（农历正月廿八）大放光彩足足1个月。极乐寺住持日恒长老.
